Q: How about different reductions in radial internal clearance / expansion

A: In these cases, the sufficiently high starting pressure is given as a percentage value of the final expansion, in order that values which are feasible with assembly technology can be achieved with small bearings in particular. In the case of larger bearing diameters, individually specified starting pressures can prevent adjustment between the start and end position of the hydraulic nut, particularly with a taper ratio of 1:30. The same also applies when selecting higher reductions in internal clearance or final expansion values.
