A: Ceramic ball bearings characteristics:
1) Low density. Due to the reduced rolling element density of ceramic ball bearings, its centrifugal load is also reduced during high-speed operation, so it can work at higher speeds.
2) Medium elastic modulus. Too much elastic modulus will reduce the bearing capacity of the bushing due to stress concentration.
3) The thermal expansion coefficient is small. Reduce the sensitivity to temperature changes, making the bearing operating temperature range wider.
4) High compressive strength. High compressive strength is required for rolling bearings to withstand high stress.
5) High hardness and toughness. The combination of these two characteristics can obtain better surface roughness; and can prevent damage from external particles and impact.
6) Good resistance to rolling contact fatigue and peeling failure mode.
7) Special occasions should have high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and stability.
