3309 Bearing Short Description
3309 bearing double row angular contact bearings are designed to work as two single row angular contact bearings but take up less axial space. They can accommodate radial loads and axial loads in both directions. The bearings have a 30-degree contact angle with the ball sets arranged back-to-back.
Cage material can be either metal (no suffix) or glass-reinforced polyamide with the suffix "TN9". Double Row Angular Contact bearings are available in open design (no seals or shields) or with Metal Shields "2Z" and Rubber Seals "2RS1". The shielded and sealed bearings come pre-greased with high-quality NLGI class 3 grease with a temperature range of -30 to +120 degree C and are marked with the suffix "MT33".
3309 Angular Contact Ball Bearing Features
The design of double row angular contact ball bearings is basically the same as that of single row angular contact ball bearings but only takes up a smaller axial space. Double row angular contact ball bearings can bear radial load and axial load acting in two directions, and it can limit the axial displacement of the shaft or housing in both directions. A bearing configuration with higher rigidity can be provided and can withstand the overturning moment.
Double row angular contact ball bearings can withstand larger radial loads, mainly combined radial and axial loads and moment loads, limiting the axial displacement of the shaft on both sides. Mainly used in components that limit the bidirectional axial displacement of the shaft and the housing.
