Introduction of spherical roller bearing 24144
The spherical roller bearing is designed to adapt to the circumstance of heavy load. It has
two rows of symmetric spherical rollers. The rollers may freely adjust position in the outer
spherical raceway, which may compensate for the shaft deformation and non-alignment error
of the bearing seat.
The quantity, length, and diameter of the roller in self-aligning roller bearing are the max. the value
that the structure allows. The close contact between the roller and raceway ensures the
uniform stress distribution and enables the high bearing capacity of bearing.
· Printing presses, paper mills, or coaters in high precision execution
· Very arduous operating conditions, e. g.continuous casters
· High-temperature applications
· Mounting with loose fit on roll necks
· Railway vehicles
Spherical roller bearings with two rollers, mainly bear radial load but also can withstand
axial load in either direction. A high radial load capacity, especially suitable for heavy loads
or vibration, but can not bear the pure axial load. This kind of bearing outer ring raceway
is spherical in shape, so the good performance of its self-aligning can compensate for concentricity
error.
