6704 Bearing Short Description
The 6704-ZZ deep groove ball bearing is extremely narrow and can also be used with limited space. Extremely narrow, extremely light, and with utmost good spinning characteristics. The low weight allows for the utmost high speeds.
In order to obtain the bearing's low friction torque, high rigidity, and good rotation accuracy, steel balls with small outer diameters are used. The use of hollow shafts ensures lightweight and space for wiring. The thin-walled bearing realizes the extremely thin bearing section, and also realizes the miniaturization and lightweight of the product. The variety of products expands its scope of use.
6704 Deep Groove Ball Bearing Features
- Thin section bearing with an ultra-thin, square cross-section
- Suitable for space-saving installation in radial and axial directions
- Suitable for extremely high speeds compared to deep groove ball bearings with a larger cross-section
- Extra light series with compact dimensions and low weight
- Suitable for radial loads and light axial loads in both directions
- Offers high running accuracy, quiet running, and very high speeds
- Seal: contact lip seal on both sides made of metal (ZZ) for high sealing effect
- The good fixed bearing property, but can also be used as a floating bearing, each in both directions
6704 Bearing Design
Thin-walled ring bearings are highly accurate, very quiet, and have a strong load-bearing capacity. These ball bearings have three designs and are extremely small and mostly square in cross-section. In these series, even with larger shaft diameters and bearing holes, the cross-section remains the same. These bearings are therefore called equal sections. It is this feature that makes the standard ISO series.
Thin-walled ring bearings are different from traditional bearings. Therefore, it is possible to choose a larger cross-section and use a bearing with a higher load-carrying capacity without changing the shaft diameter. Thin-walled ring bearings can be designed to be extremely light and require little space.
