High temperature and high-speed bearing grease generally require base oil viscosity to be moderate or small, oil film viscosity is low, and extreme pressure is low, mainly to reduce the running torque of the bearing at high speed.


Low-temperature and low-speed machinery generally use base oils with high viscosity and large oil film thickness, which have high extreme pressure. We should treat them differently when using. Select grease should be purposeful and not universal. Otherwise, improper use will affect the life of the bearing. When choosing butter, it is best to choose a regular manufacturer, which is more secure.

Temperature: The temperature has a great influence on the grease. If the environment and mechanical operating temperature are relatively high, high-temperature and resistant grease should be used.


Rotation speed: The temperature rise of the high-speed machine parts is high and fast, and it is easy to make the grease thin and loose. You should choose a thicker grease.


Load: As the penetration of the grease is related to the load it can withstand during use. Heavy loads should select the grease with a larger consistency. If it bears heavy loads and impact loads, it is best to select the grease containing extreme pressure additives.

Five Conditions for Using High-temperature Grease and Butter

High-temperature grease is not suitable for low-speed bearings and low-speed machinery. High-speed grease generally uses low-viscosity base oil, which has a thin oil film and is not durable when used on low-speed equipment. Select the suitable grease should according to the bearing speed, operating temperature, noise reduction, resistance to water and load, etc.:


(1) For high-speed bearings, use fully synthetic high-speed bearing grease;


(2) For high-temperature bearings, select fully synthetic high-temperature motor bearing grease and fully synthetic high-temperature high-speed bearing grease;


(3) For heavy-duty bearings, use fully synthetic high-temperature heavy-duty bearing grease;


(4) For small and medium bearings or reduce noise, use fully synthetic noise reduction bearing grease;


(5) Use a fully synthetic water-resistant shaft for grease bearing when the bearing is in a water-drenching environment.
